Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 2026

All software and documentation in the dekube ecosystem is released under the Unlicense — dedicated to the public domain. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell it without restriction, attribution, or permission. It is yours. Do with it what you will.

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. In no event shall the authors be held liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of this software.

In plain language: this project converts Kubernetes manifests into Docker Compose files. It was AI-typed and human insanity-designed in two weeks. It works remarkably well, but do not blame us if you open a portal to a dimension best left undisturbed. You chose to enter. The path behind you remains open. Probably.

The documentation sites (docs.dekube.io, helmfile2compose.dekube.io, k2s.dekube.io) are public domain under the same terms. Quote them, fork them, print them and frame them. We do not care. We are busy shipping a compose.yml.

The static websites themselves (dekube.io, landing pages, stylesheets, the tentacle) are not covered by the Unlicense. All rights reserved on the site design and assets. You are welcome to look at the source for transparency, but please do not clone the sites wholesale. The code and docs are free. The interior decoration is ours.

"The covenant was simple: take what is offered, and bear the consequences alone. The giver shall not be summoned to answer for the gift, nor for the doors it opens, nor for what steps through."
— De Vermis Mysteriis, On Covenants of the Unbound (probably&sup4;)
